... and we are "Too Happy Campers"

Welcome to Too Happy Campers: Where Life Is a Little Too Good

Some people are just too much.

Too loud. Too bold. Too weird. Too happy.

And you know what? We’ve decided to own it.

Introducing Too Happy Campers, and welcome to our home-on-wheels adventure across the U.S., where we lean into all the things we’re “too” of—and invite you to come along for the ride. Over the next two years, we’ll be covering more than 12,000 miles, chasing sunsets, savoring flavors, and seeing what happens when you trade in a traditional life for one that’s too full of wander.

We’re Kristi and Gary—seasoned storytellers, disc golf junkies, food lovers, music chasers, and curious wanderers. After years of talking about it, we finally sold our house, packed our lives into an RV, and plan to hit the road with big dreams, reckless abandon and no rearview regrets.

The Plan

Life is too short to spend it asking, “What if…”
We’d rather ask, “Why not?”

So, what does it mean to be Too Happy?

It means laughing a little louder than you’re supposed to. Enjoying every twist and turn that the journey offers.

It means turning your life upside down in the name of adventure. Getting lost. Risking it all. Living life.

It means embracing joy, shedding negativity, and experiencing every moment.

It means daring to be too curious, too spontaneous, too fearless, too weird, or too in love with life to fit in anyone else’s box.

Our journey is about celebrating all those beautiful “too” moments that make life rich, messy, and unforgettable.

To avoid asking “What if?” when you’re old, you need to ask yourself, “Why not?” now – and that’s exactly what we plan to do.

No regrets, only lessons learned.

What this website isn’t…

Although money makes the world go ’round, I am not in this for the money. Much like any other artist, I do this because I enjoy the expressionism. Creating, writing, and sharing my stories, my journey, my lessons, and my successes is cathartic.

I am a writer—no differently than a musician who lives to create music or a painter who lives to make art, I live to tell stories. I’ve also been a techno-geek in graphic design since the early nineties. For me, building a blog is as second-nature as baking a cake is to most people. Add a few ingredients, let it bake for a while, and voila—a masterpiece.

I would be a liar if I said making a living from selling my artwork isn’t the ultimate goal.

That being said, while other sites inundate you with pop-up ads, sidebar ads, ads in the middle of the article, and auto-play video pop-ups you can’t get around, I’m choosing another path to monetization. It’s simple, low-key, and authentic.

I’m using basic affiliate marketing in its most genuine form. I’m only adding links to the products I’m discussing in my articles.

No ads. No leaderboards. No flashy graphics. Just a simple link. I’m not going to try to sell you anything. If you want to purchase a product you find interesting in my articles, you will. No pressure, but I’ll make a little commission when you do.

I’m also not above asking for your support directly. If you’ve read something here today that you found interesting, entertaining, or educational, share us on social media, recommend us to a friend, or when you can, show us some love at Buy Me a Coffee.
